Responsibilities include strategy development, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation, while maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with a high-performing legal team.

Qualifications

  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 4 years of insurance defense civil litigation experience.
  • Experience with case management, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and mediations/arbitrations.
  • Ability to manage cases independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including evaluation, discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trial prep.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies to protect client interests and drive favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain strong client and opposing counsel relationships while collaborating with experts and colleagues.
  • Draft and argue motions; conduct depositions; participate in hearings and other proceedings.
