Preferred Mutual is seeking a Data & Statistical Reporting Analyst in the United States. The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform management and identify trends in data.

Responsibilities include preparing regulatory data submissions, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making. A strong SQL and Excel background plus a PPC insurance understanding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, data analysis, or related field.
• Insurance industry experience required.
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance coverage types and policy structures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and submit statistical data files to external bureaus and regulators (e.g., ISO, AAIS, CAR).
• Prepare submission of regulatory data calls.
• Monitor bureau rejections and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support data quality, compliance, and system upgrade projects.
• Test system changes or migrations affecting reporting/data (UAT, data validation).
• Stay current on regulatory reporting developments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources for operations and strategy.
• Create and maintain source-to-target data mappings and dictionaries.
• Write data-level business requirements with complex calculations.
