Motion Recruitment is seeking an Insurance Data Analyst to join the analytics team in a hybrid role based in Boston, MA. You will leverage insurance data to deliver actionable insights, support business decisions, and drive operational performance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in analytics within the insurance sector, strong SQL, and experience building dashboards with Power BI or Tableau. Hybrid work schedule and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Analytics-focused role
• Prior experience working in the insurance industry is required
• Strong proficiency with SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data
• Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions
• Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business insights
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and reporting best practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field

Responsabilités

• Analyze insurance data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and operational metrics
• Support stakeholders with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy
• Partner with business teams to define reporting requirements and KPIs
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership
• Assist with process improvement initiatives through data-driven insights
• Support ongoing efforts to improve data quality and reporting efficiency
