The role offers exposure to insurer-side or policyholder-side work with opportunities for greater client interaction and litigation responsibility.

Ideal candidates will have a track record handling complex coverage disputes across Am Law-scale firms and beyond, with a focus on sophisticated policy

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance coverage analysis, coverage litigation, and insurance recovery disputes.
• Strong understanding of commercial general liability, umbrella, excess, and specialty policies.
• Ability to draft opinions and motions related to coverage disputes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial general liability, umbrella, excess and specialty policies.
• Represent insurers or policyholders in coverage disputes.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, and substantive motions.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions, bad-faith claims, and complex coverage litigation.
• Advise on insurance recovery, policy interpretation, and litigation strategy.
