Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Chicago is seeking a junior associate to support a busy insurance coverage litigation practice. This role blends coverage analysis with active litigation and provides a clear path to long-term advancement.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office presence required three days per week, a base salary up to $160,000, and admission to the Illinois Bar required. A JD from an accredited law school and 2–4 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant insurance coverage experience.
• Illinois bar admission in good standing.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation skills, including legal research and writing.

Responsibilities

• Draft and analyze insurance coverage positions, including reservations of rights and coverage opinions.
• Handle insurance coverage litigation tasks including pleadings, motion practice, and written discovery.
• Support depositions, hearings, and broader case strategy under attorney supervision, with increasing responsibility based on experience.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding coverage issues, litigation status, and risk considerations.
