gpac LLC. is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate in Orange County, CA, with a hybrid work setup offering some remote options.

The firm targets attorneys with 1–10 years of litigation experience and provides a path to develop a specialty in insurance coverage within a nationally recognized practice. You may base in Orange County, Los Angeles, or San Diego, with 2–3 days per week in the office and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 1–10 years of litigation experience (any background acceptable).
• Active California Bar membership.
• Strong research and writing abilities; analytical skills.
• Insurance coverage or defense experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload.

Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Position Overview

An established, nationally recognized law firm is adding several associates to its insurance coverage group, supporting its Orange County office. This is a great opportunity for litigators with 1-10 years of experience who want to build their practice in insurance coverage on a collaborative team. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in the office, and you can be based in the Orange County, Los Angeles or San Diego office.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage matters, including analysis, coverage opinions and related litigation


• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs


• Take and defend depositions and manage discovery


• Work with partners and clients on case strategy


• Appear in court and support matters through resolution
