Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally with insurance coverage, insurance defense, general liability, or related experience.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and litigation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• Comfortable working primarily on-site in Seattle; some hybrid flexibility may be available for senior-level attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage and defense matters through various stages of litigation
• Analyze insurance policies and provide guidance on coverage issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents
• Manage discovery, depositions, and case strategy
• Communicate directly with clients and develop strong professional relationships
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on case management
