Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a NY license in good standing, JD from an accredited school, and demonstrates strong writing, research, and collaboration with partners, associates, and clients.

Qualifications

• Active NY license in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters under D&O, E&O, or EPL policies.
• Cyber coverage experience is a plus.
• Excellent writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance coverage issues involving professional lines claims, including D&O/management liability and E&O matters.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and other coverage-related communications.
• Evaluate claims, policies, and underlying litigation materials to assess coverage obligations and potential exposure.
• Assist with coverage litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and related litigation materials.
• Advise insurance company clients on coverage matters and collaborate with claims professionals, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel and participate in court hearings and oral arguments.
