Job summary

Fifth Third in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks an experienced executive to lead corporate client engagements within the Financial Institutions Group. You will manage tactical client portfolios, drive cross-sell and return generation, and provide direct support to senior RMs on strategic projects.

You will leverage expertise in corporate finance and credit to analyze models, present insights, and mentor Analysts and Associates, collaborating with Capital Markets when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 7-8+ years in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A or Capital Markets.
• 4+ years in corporate banking analysis and sales management preferred.
• Strong corporate finance and credit skills; underwriting experience preferred.
• Proven track record of originating and closing complex transactions.
• Ability to pitch, win and execute corporate finance ideas.
• Excellent presentation skills, oral and written.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages a portfolio of tactical clients with a focus on cross-sell and return generation.
• Evaluates complex financial models and performs in-depth financial analysis.
• Creates high-impact materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Leads and mentors Analysts and Associates within the team.
• Interacts with senior executives and other constituencies to deliver strategic client assignments.
• Supports Capital Markets by assessing securities products for clients.
