Qualifications

• Experience in giving legal, regulatory or compliance advice related to insurance regulatory frameworks and risks.
• Proficient understanding of securities regulation and information barrier practices.
• Ability to interact with senior management and investment bankers while working independently.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and provide timely guidance.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and Firm compliance policy guidance to the Insurance Solutions team and management on insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Identify and prioritize regulatory and compliance risks; develop and execute the compliance program and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures.
• Develop and conduct training.
• Coordinate with Control Room and Legal on information barriers and conflicts of interest.
• Coordinate with internal audit, regulators, and regulatory responses.
• Provide guidance on supervision structure, processes, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate issue management, escalation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with various Compliance teams including Control Room, Bank Regulatory, and Licensing.
