Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services in Portland, ME is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to support insurance claim administration.

You will document observations, report findings clearly, and coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed; maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post-offer training provided by Allied Universal Investigations.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable investigative or protective service experience.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
• Strong report writing skills with minimal grammatical errors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across a range of coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document observations and report relevant information clearly.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
