Information Providers Inc. is seeking a full-time Insurance Auditor in Kansas City, MO/KS who will conduct on-site and virtual audits, review payroll data and financial records, and maintain high-quality audit documentation from a home-based workflow.

You will manage schedules, engage clients professionally, and ensure compliance while contributing to a growing organization with health benefits, retirement options, and flexible scheduling. Experience with premium audits is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) in accounting, mathematics, education, marketing, or business - education weighted more than experience.
• Accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, financial analysis, or premium audit experience.
• Experience as a loan officer or office manager.

Responsibilities

• Audit both on-site and virtual engagements, reviewing payroll data, financial records, and operational documents.
• Dispatch from home to schedule client appointments and organize a structured audit workflow.
• Prepare clear, organized audit documentation supporting clients and internal teams.
• Ensure information is compliant and accurate, applying critical thinking to each report.

ABOUT THIS INSURANCE AUDITOR ROLE

This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with full-time options, working either 8 am–5 pm or 7 am–4 pm, Monday through Friday.

You will begin your workday by dispatching directly from your home, taking initiative as you organize client appointments and maintain a structured schedule. You will conduct both on-site and virtual audits, thoroughly reviewing payroll data, financial records, and operational documents. You will evaluate information to ensure compliance and accuracy, applying critical thinking to every report you complete. You will also prepare clear, organized audit documentation that supports both clients and internal teams, ensuring every detail meets professional standards.

• Proficiency with technology, computers, video conference software, and Microsoft-based programs
• Professional attitude, team spirit, and effective verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Self‑starter mentality with resourceful problem‑solving skills and a drive to meet targets

Preferred Qualifications:
