Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
• Experience with auditing and reviewing financial records.
• Experience reconciling payroll, tax, or accounting data.
• Ability to work with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs in Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and audit worksheets.
• Familiarity with payroll, tax, and accounting concepts relevant to audits.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine premium bases for insurance lines.
• Gather detailed descriptions of business operations and employee duties via phone/email.
• Clarify and document information from clients to support audit conclusions.
• Complete audit worksheets using Excel templates.
• Work with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to reconcile data.
• Reconcile payroll, tax, and accounting data to identify discrepancies.
• Process audit findings in the company database following procedures.
• Apply auditing principles to evaluate financial records and premium determinations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve questions and finalize audit results.
• Maintain organized records and documentation compliant with guidelines.
