Job summary

Kemper is hiring a Life Insurance Sales Agent in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time field role offers benefits and an onboarding that includes paid training to prepare you for licensing exams.

After licensing, you’ll manage an existing book of business, earn commissions on premiums, and have opportunities to grow income with performance. You’ll visit clients, collect monthly premiums, and sell new policies while building trusted relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine

Responsibilities

Agents are set up for success by being assigned a territory (called an agency) with an established book of business and existing customers.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities
