Job summary

Kemper in Gray, LA is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our field team. You will visit communities, present products, and close new policies while building relationships with existing customers.

New agents start with paid training, earn commissions on premiums and new sales, and can grow income as skills and book of business expand. A pay-for-performance model rewards effort with opportunities and recognition; we value service to underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.

• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.

Day-to-Day Activities:
