Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in the Seattle area to build and manage an exclusive agency within a defined territory. You will promote Horace Mann products to educators, identify solutions, and establish lasting client relationships.

The role emphasizes networking, ongoing training, and leveraging cutting-edge technology and a comprehensive product portfolio to grow your business and financial success.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities to grow an agency.
• Experience in insurance and financial services preferred (2–5 years).
• Resident state general lines insurance licenses required (Life & Health, Property & Casualty).
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses may be required depending on region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators access affordable insurance and financial security.
• Achieve market access and build strong client relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
