Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to join our team. This 1099 role offers an industry-leading incentive package and dedicated service reps to help you grow your independent agency.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in insurance/financial services, hold Life/Health and Property/Casualty licenses, and can obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 if needed. Build relationships in an exclusive territory with cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses required.
• Life and Health Insurance License required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, allowing you to focus on building your business.
• Build and manage your agency with support from Horace Mann's system and partners.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client base and market presence.
