Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators secure affordable insurance and financial security. This role offers independence, an exclusive territory, cutting-edge technology, and a comprehensive multiline product portfolio, with no external office required for 2 years.

You will build relationships, present products, and network in communities to drive a profitable agency with performance-based compensation and incentives over 48 months.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities.
• 2-5 years in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Current state Life/Health and Property/Casualty licenses.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions to help educators secure affordable insurance and financial security.
• Build market access and strong client relationships.
• Present products confidently to groups and individuals.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
