Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent on a 1099 basis to help educators secure affordable insurance and financial plans. You will leverage our multiline portfolio, exclusive territory, and cutting-edge tools to build a sustainable agency without an external office for the first 2 years.

Leverage performance incentives and quarterly bonuses as you develop client relationships, network within communities, and scale your independent agency to meet educators’ evolving needs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License; Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators achieve affordable insurance solutions and financial security.
• Focus on market access and building strong relationships.
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
