Job summary

SoFi is hiring an experienced insurance agent to build SoFi Protect and deliver exceptional experiences for members. You will sell and advise on Life, Home, and Auto insurance, handling inquiries via email, chat, and phone while shaping core processes for the growing Protect business.

This role is ideal for go-getters in an early-stage business, focusing on sales and operations, with opportunities to advance as the Protect product suite expands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience selling Property & Casualty Insurance
• Must have valid state active licenses in Property & Casualty or Personal Lines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven interpersonal and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Ability to multitask and stay organized to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Engage potential and current members via phone, email, text, and chat to assist with their insurance needs
• Receive new leads and manage a pipeline of both SoFi members and direct-to-consumer leads
• Drive the entire lifecycle of the insurance sale from intake to quoting to fulfillment, navigating our panel of insurance providers
• Assist the Business Lead of Protect with the operational build-out of SoFi Protect products and services
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and help close any coverage gaps
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help further enhance the business
