Job summary

John Ballard State Farm Agent is seeking an Account Representative to help grow the agency and support daily operations. You will act as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments, proactively marketing relevant products and services to improve customer lives.

You will develop leads, establish relationships, and provide prompt, accurate service to inquiries about policy details, eligibility, coverages, changes, transfers, claims, and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
