First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an insurance administrator in Illinois. Base pay is part of our Total Rewards and depends on education, skills, equity and experience.

Discretionary short-term incentives may also be available. The role includes delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining policy renewals, and cross-selling insurance and bank services. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with 2+ years in insurance (or 5+ years), an Illinois

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and two years’ experience in insurance preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance.
• Illinois Insurance Producers license and a valid Illinois Driver's license required; training for additional licensure will be provided.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service at all times, including proactively anticipating customer needs, maintaining frequent and professional customer communication and responding quickly to service requests.
• Maintains high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise.
• Maintains policy expiration list to ensure timely renewal and delivery of policies.
• Monitors accounts receivable balances on assigned accounts.
• Cross-sell insurance and bank services in a professional manner.
• Complete required training associated with job function.
• Performs other duties as required.
