Job summary

Lake Barkley Insurance, serving Western KY & Middle TN, seeks an Insurance Account Manager to manage a diverse book of business and deliver exceptional client service across two agency locations. The role emphasizes staying proactive with clients, processing submissions, and maintaining meticulous documentation.

Experience in Personal or Commercial Lines is preferred; a Property & Casualty license is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Lines or Commercial Lines account manager preferred but not required.
• Active Property & Casualty license preferred but not required.
• Two-year Associate Degree or Four-year Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service assigned customer accounts with high client satisfaction.
• Develop submissions on new and renewal business and obtain quotes with agency procedures.
• Maintain Agency Management System and electronic files for documentation.
• Retain accounts through proactive rounding and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Respond to policy changes, cancellations, and sales requests within set timeframes.
• Participate in courses for insurance/sales skills and stay current with underwriting requirements.
