Murphy Family Ventures is seeking an Account Manager for Partners Insurance Group in Morehead City, NC. The role focuses on servicing commercial and personal insurance accounts, supporting producers, and ensuring timely, professional client communications.

The ideal candidate will hold an NC P&C license (or obtain it), have 2+ years in insurance account-management, and excel in service, accuracy, and relationship-building with clients, carriers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Active NC Property & Casualty license required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• 2+ years insurance account-management or related experience; commercial-lines preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial/personal coverages, forms, endorsements, and renewals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Service an assigned book of commercial and/or personal accounts, including new business, endorsements, certificates, and renewals.
• Prepare applications, renewal submissions, certificates, and other insurance documents accurately and on time.
• Market new and renewal business to carriers; review quotations and present options to producers/clients.
• Coordinate renewal processes and maintain organized electronic files in the agency system.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and provide status updates as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of carrier products and underwriting guidelines.
