Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Full-Time Pipe Insulation Technician to remove, repair and install insulation (fiberglass, calcium silicate, rubatex) on piping, ventilation and ship components.

Must lift up to 50 lbs, climb, crawl, bend, squat and stand 8 hours daily in varied shipyard environments.

3–4 years of pipe insulation experience in industrial/marine settings with rubber insulation is required.

The Role

The candidate will remove, repair and install various types of pipe insulation; including fiberglass, calcium silicate and rubatex from piping systems, ventilation systems and various components and structures through out the ship. Candidate must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, crawl, bend, squat and stand 8 hours per day and work in various work environments.

Must Have

• 3-4 years of Pipe Insulation experience n an Industrial, Marine, Shipbuilding aor Petro-Chemical enviroment with experience installing rubber insulation. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
