Job summary

Installed Building Products is hiring for a full-time insulation installer in New Hampshire. You’ll start at $20-$25/hour during training, with DOT options at $25, and transition to piece-rate pay after 90 days based on performance.

You'll work with a small crew, load materials, set up ladders, cut and install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces, and follow safety procedures. Company benefits and room to grow are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Construction or installation experience is a plus (we will train the right person).
• Comfortable using hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces and at heights.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• Bilingual is a plus, not required.
• Driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report required if job duties include operating a company vehicle.

• Non-DOT: Starting at $20/hour
• DOT Certified (or able to obtain DOT): Starting at $25/hour
• Transition to piece-rate pay after 90 days, offering increased earning potential based on performance.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll start early, either meeting at the shop or heading directly to the jobsite. After loading materials and completing a quick safety check, the crew gets to work. You’ll install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. You’ll be working in a variety of conditions, depending on the job site and season, with safety procedures and proper equipment in place. You’ll work until the job is done and then head home.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Team members look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right. If you show up on time, follow safety guidelines, and are willing to learn, you’ll feel supported and welcomed.

This is active, hands-on work. You’ll be moving, lifting, climbing, and working in a variety of conditions, including heat, cold, or dusty environments. We provide training, proper equipment, and follow safety standards. Reasonable accommodations can be made where required.
