MKD Electric, LLC seeks an Instrumentation Technician to support plant maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical/electronic controls. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, data collection for reliability, and adherence to safety standards.

Requires at least 1 year of experience and an Associate’s degree in Instrumentation or Certification. Base pay ranges from $38.00 to $58.00 per hour with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
• Associate’s degree in Instrumentation or Certification.
• Ability to test, calibrate, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic devices and equipment.
• Proficient at Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot PLC's, AC and DC Drives.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise to plant personnel during equipment problems and investigations.
• Sets up, calibrates, tests, measures and repairs electrical controls, instruments, and components.
• Collects equipment history/data to improve reliability.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
• Performs preventative maintenance of equipment and calibrations.
• Monitors controls to ensure effective and efficient service.
