Job summary

NEORSD is seeking an Instrument Technician in a training capacity at Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, Bratenahl, OH. The role prepares you to bid on the Instrument Technician position while performing skilled maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.

Under supervision, you will assist in installation, troubleshooting, and calibration, participate in maintenance programs, and use CMMS for data input.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Five years of industrial instrumentation experience or related military experience and training; trade school may substitute.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred completion of an Industrial Machinery Instrument Technician or Millwright apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Assist instrumentation work including installation, troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance.
Operate district vehicles to transport equipment and materials.
Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot faulty instrumentation and record data in CMMS.
Follow instructions, interpret drawings and diagrams, and use hand/power tools.
