Job summary

Collaboration on international projects is expected. Qualifications include a degree in electronics engineering, 3+ years of related experience with embedded systems, and hands-on hardware debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field with appropriate experience.
• 3 years of engineering research experience including embedded C/C++, PCB layout, high-speed data acquisition, and FPGA/CPLD work.
• Experience with analogue/digital circuit design and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Programming for data acquisition and control on ARM, AVR, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi platforms.
• Design and analyze electronic circuits and systems for instruments.
• PCB design for low-noise, high-speed applications; multi-layer boards (2–6 layers).
• Prototype testing using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers; develop test protocols.
• 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing for instrument packaging.
• Develop applications for PCs; supervise technicians and assistants.
• Participate in multi-institutional project planning and coordination.
• Perform other duties as required by the Instrumentation Design Laboratory.
