Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C (Instrumentation) at the Stennis Space Center in MS. You will join a team of technicians, engineers, and QA personnel to assemble, test, and deliver electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for large rocket engines.

You will calibrate, rework, and test products using tools and software, while developing methods to improve manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes mentoring peers and solving complex assembly challenges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education/associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Perform setup, calibration, rework and quality testing activities.
• Use specialized software to collect and evaluate operating data and support process improvements.
• Mentor lower-level peers and contribute to method/procedure development.
• Follow established processes to meet operational targets with impact on team results.
