This role involves maintaining control systems, assisting in troubleshooting, and offering on-call support. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering, experience in instrumentation, and knowledge of automation systems like PLCs and DeltaV. Qualifications
Experience working hands-on with automation systems.
Experience with industry codes and standards, e.g. NFPA 70, 70B, and 70E.
Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 on-call support for all instrumentation issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on control system hardware.
Assist Operations & Maintenance Departments with technical expertise.
Participate in checkout, commissioning, and startup activities.
Implement small-scale automation and electrical changes.
Skills
Instrumentation such as pressure, level, temperature, flow sensors, and control valves
Electrical systems up to 480V including relays, motor starters, and VFDs
Automation systems including PLCs, DCS, HMIs, etc.; DeltaV strongly preferred
Programming languages used in automation, e.g. Function Block, Ladder Logic
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
High school diploma or equivalent with 12+ years of experience
