This entry-level role provides hands-on support to the Instrumentation and Electrical teams, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical systems in a fast-paced midstream energy environment.

This is an entry-level intern position focused on providing hands-on support and technical expertise to our Instrumentation and Electrical teams. As an I&E intern, you will assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and electrical systems critical to our operations. Assist in a wide range of responsibilities inclusive of job shadowing, preparing reports, analyzing data, learning about various operational, technical, and/or business-related compliance, regulatory, and/or technical components. Assist with development of presentations, trainings, knowledge sharing, and/or other administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
The candidate should be currently pursuing a certificate or degree relevant to the internship field.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
Travel to other locations may be required. Driving Based on assigned tasks, employee may be assigned a company vehicle requiring the applicable driver's license.
