Job summary

Tharp Consulting seeks an Instrumentation and Control Technician for field-based work supporting safe, reliable operation of pipeline and terminal assets. Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control, and automation systems across crude oil and NGL facilities.

Key duties include working with PLCs, SCADA, transmitters, analyzers, and control valves; interpreting P&IDs and drawings; troubleshooting issues; performing calibration and verification to maintain performance;

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC/SCADA and field devices.

Key Duties

• Partner with operations, engineering, and safety teams in a performance-driven, safety-first culture.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read and apply P&IDs and technical drawings.
