Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on maintenance, instrumentation or related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems and calibrating field devices.
• Experience in operations and maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and calibrate instrumentation and control equipment
• Support PLC-based control systems and related plant automation equipment
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Assist with startups, shutdowns, and operational troubleshooting
• Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and logs
• Follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Support emergency response activities
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams for safe, reliable plant performance
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work in an industrial power generation facility with rotating 12-hour shifts
• Indoor/outdoor work in varying environmental conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights; enter confined spaces
• Lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE and respiratory protection
• Must participate in plant emergency response activities

Our customer is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Specialist to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of equipment within a combined-cycle power generation facility. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems that are critical to safe and efficient plant operations.

This role offers a long-term career path within power generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical maintenance background and a genuine interest in growing into plant operations over time.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance, instrumentation, controls, or related trade experience
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining:
• Instrumentation and control systems
• Calibration and recalibration of field devices
• Experience working in an operations and maintenance environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Power generation, utility, petrochemical, manufacturing, or other large industrial facility experience
• Technical degree, military technical training, or trade apprenticeship
• Experience supporting plant operations, startups, shutdowns, and maintenance activities

Key Responsibilities
