Instrumental Accompanist - Adjunct Faculty

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Accompanist to support rehearsals, chamber recitals, and juries. The ideal candidate will have strong sight‑reading ability, musical sensitivity, and experience working with instrumentalists, and/or ensembles. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of musical presentations and maintaining a high standard of performance for our Freshman and Sophomore student musicians.

Nature of Position: Adjunct Instructor

Salary: $830 per credit hour taught. Commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.

Piano pedagogy and knowledge of basic music theory required.

Prospective candidates must be skilled in a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to student engagement and learning outcomes assessment.

Master’s degree and teaching experience required. Will consider candidates with a firm degree completion date.
