Job summary

Lilly seeks an Instrument Technician for the Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana, to support calibration and maintenance of process instrumentation essential for clinical trial medicines. The role emphasizes equipment availability, safety, and adherence to cGMP standards.

You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot faults, and document activities while supporting initial equipment installations and long‑term reliability in a high‑throughput manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial process instrumentation and calibration experience in FDA regulated industry required.
• Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in electrical systems and calibration.
• Instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, pH, and conductivity) and electrical testing equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance with HSE procedures (LOTO).
• Meet quality standards defined by cGMPs and local procedures.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation to minimize downtime.
• Read P&ID drawings and document work orders in GMARS.
