Job summary

MapleClass Education seeks an Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems in Akron, USA. You will calibrate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document work while supporting engineers and operators in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron USA As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems in industrial and commercial settings

Responsibilities

• Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
• Maintain and calibrate existing instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning lubricating and replacing worn parts
• Keep detailed records of all work done on instruments and control systems
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve instrument performance or resolve issues
• Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in instrument technology

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree or certification preferred
• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of different types of instruments such as pressure gauges thermocouples flow meters etc
• Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs DCSs SCADA systems etc
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Physical stamina to work in various environments indooroutdoor and lift heavy equipment if needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this contract position
