Key Responsibilities

• Install calibrate and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors and control valves
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument malfunctions in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed on instruments
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree or certificate in instrumentation preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of various types of instruments used in the industry
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
