World Oil Corp. in California is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to specify, install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instrumentation and control systems used in processing petroleum and related streams.
You will work with sensors, transmitters, PLCs, VFDs, and control valves, ensuring safe operation and compliance with ISA standards. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
The Instrument Technician is responsible for specifying, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation and control systems and equipment associated with the processing of petroleum, waste water, and ethylene glycol. This role should be familiar with ISA standards and other relevant industry standards. The Instrument Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Posted pay ranges are provided in accordance with California pay transparency requirements and reflect the Company's current anticipated compensation for the position at the time of posting.
