Job summary

Shar Music is seeking a Production Associate – Quality & Logistics to support daily operations with quality inspections, production scheduling, and inventory coordination. This role helps ensure products move efficiently while upholding high quality and service standards for customers.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of balancing priorities, learning new systems like NetSuite, and collaborating across Operations, Production, Warehouse and Purchasing

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college education preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
• Experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, inventory control, quality control, or production environments.
• Knowledge of string instruments is helpful but not required.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate and learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect string instruments and related products for quality adherence.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions.
• Perform quality checks on incoming, in-process, and finished products.
• Coordinate and maintain production schedules to support workflow efficiency and on-time work orders.
• Monitor work order progress and communicate delays to team members.
• Pick materials and components required for production activities.
• Perform light material handling and inventory movement within the facility.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and audits.
• Enter, update, and maintain data in NetSuite and other systems.
• Create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets and reports using Excel.
• Communicate effectively with Operations, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and others.
• Support shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities as needed.
• Maintain records for quality, inventory, and production activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and other duties as assigned.
• Regular and routine onsite attendance.
