Job summary

Lenzing Group in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a skilled Employee for Manufacturing - Instrument & Electrical. You will troubleshoot control loops (Allen Bradley Control Logix) and read ladder logic, install and calibrate industrial instrumentation, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in a safe, professional manner.

Role includes daily safety checks, continuous improvement of processes, and potential rotating shifts with OT coverage as required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of field hands-on electrical experience with formalized training in industrial instrument and electrical from an accredited technical school or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to read electrical loop diagrams.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot medium voltage (12700) and low voltage (480) distribution systems including starters and breakers.
• Good self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
• Rotating shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot control loops, requiring PLC experience (Allen Bradley Control Logix), and read ladder logic, electrical schematics and instrument loop diagrams.
• Calibrate, install, set-up and troubleshoot industrial process instrumentation (level, temp, flow) and analytical process instrumentation (pH, conductivity) and field devices such as control valve actuators and positioners.
• Maintain all electrical and instrumentation equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform daily safety checks and inspections in all areas, including housekeeping.
• Strive for continuous improvement of processes and equipment.
• Be responsible for OT coverage and possible Call-Ins when required.
