Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:
Ability to troubleshoot control loops, which require some PLC experience (Allen Bradley Control Logix), and the ability to read ladder logic, electrical schematics and instrument loop diagrams.
Ability to calibrate, install, set-up and troubleshoot industrial process instrumentation (level, temp, flow etc.) and analytical process instrumentation (Ph, conductivity etc.) and field devices such as control valve actuators and positioners etc.
Maintain all electrical (includes medium (12700) and low (480) voltage) and instrumentation equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Perform daily safety checks and inspections in all areas, including general housekeeping.
Strive for continuous improvement of processes and equipment
Be responsible for OT coverage and possible "Call Ins" when required.
Our expectations for this exciting role
Education:
4 years of field "Hands On" Electrical experience with formalized training in industrial instrument and electrical from an accredited technical school or equivalent training and experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Ability to read electrical loop diagrams.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot medium (12700) voltage and low (480) voltage distribution systems including starters, circuit breakers and other line equipment.
Good self motivated team player with excellent communication skills
Rotating shift work may be required.
The compensation package for this role is commensurate with education and experience.
