Job summary

Built by Me is a STEM enrichment company serving children in grades 1–8. We offer interactive, hands-on classes and workshops where students explore robotics, coding, math, design and art while learning to express ideas with technology.

We seek energetic instructors for weekday evenings 4–7 pm and Saturdays 9 am–12 pm. You'll work with small groups, create an inclusive, safe environment, and use our curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational settings.
• Availability on weekdays 4–7 pm and Saturdays 9 am–12 pm.
• Interest in robotics, coding, math, design, communications, video, music and art.
• Energetic, dependable, friendly and flexible with a great work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation is a plus (mileage paid).

Responsibilities

• Lead STEM classes and workshops.
• Work with small groups of students (no more than 10).
• Deliver curriculum and create engaging, inclusive lessons.

Built by Me is a STEM enrichment company. We offer a variety of STEM classes and workshops to children in grades 1 - 8. Our goal is to teach kids to use technology to create and explore. All of our programs are interactive, collaborative, hands-on, project-based, and focused on using technology to create and learn new skills while having fun!
