Mt. Hood Community College seeks an instructor to provide quality respiratory therapy instruction in hospital bedside settings, helping students meet course objectives and prepare for careers.
The role includes maintaining syllabi, updating curriculum, ensuring safe conditions, and keeping grades. This on-site position emphasizes diversity, professional development, and effective student mentoring.
Provides quality instruction that will contribute to the learning experiences necessary for each student to meet the objectives of the course and to be successful in both their education and career development experiences.

Work is performed in the hospital at the bedside. This is an on-site position. Any remote work requires prior approval and must comply with MHCC Remote Work policies and administrative regulations. Remote work must be within the states of Oregon or Washington.
Initial salary placement for Instructional Load Credit (ILC) Instructors will be based on applicable education and/or years of relevant full-time equivalent experience at the sole discretion of the College, per the guidelines in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws. Initial salary placement for all other newly hired instructors will be at Level 1.
