Responsibilities

Teaching faculty will:

  • Support student success by creating an optimal learning environment.
  • Respond to student needs, manage instructional activities, and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Model employability skills and develop cooperative relationships with faculty and staff.
  • Support college administrative requirements and maintain competency in their instructional field.
  • Prepare and teach all levels of courses within the Radiography curriculum as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Associate's in Radiography plus a Bachelor's in a health, science, or education‑related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current Radiography Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three years of radiography clinical practice.
  • One year experience as an instructor in a radiography program or conducting industry training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Greater than three years of clinical experience.
  • Greater than one year instruction in a radiography program, including JRCERT‑accredited programs.
  • Experience with assessment of student learning outcomes.
  • Experience with distance learning or alternate instructional delivery systems.
