Classroom Instructor.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; write speeches and articles; make effective and persuasive speeches on controversial or complex topics. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane geometry and trigonometry, and apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking and deal with nonverbal symbolism. May occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. Specific vision required includes close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is moderate noise, occasionally near moving mechanical parts or in a laboratory. The employee must follow safety rules and regulations and tolerate the presence of laboratory chemicals.
