Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurologyat the Perelman School of Medicine at the University ofPennsylvania seek candidates for an Instructor position in theAcademic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one(1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal arebased on satisfactory performance and availability of funding(limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D orM.D./Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities may include developing a research program thatleads to new understanding in the pathobiology of neuromusculardisorders at a basic science and translational level. Clinicalduties will include serving as an attending in the pediatricneuromuscular disease clinic with the option to also attend in theadult neuromuscular clinic. Successful candidates must haveexpertise in the diagnosis and management of neuromusculardisorders.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop anindividual training experience in research skills and teaching inan academic setting.
