Austin Peay State University invites applications for an Instructor of Geology position in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. This is a full-time, three-year, renewable position starting in August 2025. The position reports to the department chair.
The department offers a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Sciences with concentrations in Geology and Geography. It currently comprises seven (7) tenured and tenure-track faculty and features extensive facilities, including smart classrooms, a rock prep lab, petrographic microscope, fluid inclusion lab, chemistry and analytical labs, and an SEM with EDS, all available for teaching and research activities.
