The J is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor in Olathe, KS to lead Pilates Mat and Barre classes within a dynamic, member-focused environment. You will inspire members through energetic, safe and engaging sessions across multiple formats and time slots.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a Comprehensive Pilates Certification (mat + equipment), CPR/AED certification, and prior group fitness experience; part-time weekday/evening and Saturday availability is preferred.

As a Group Fitness Instructor at The J, you are the energy, the heart and the soul of our classes. You offer memorable, motivating experiences and workouts to help our members achieve their fitness goals. With over 150 classes offered a week, you have the opportunity to instruct a variety of group fitness formats and are currently seeking Instructor for Pilates Mat and Barre classes.
You will be known as a friendly, inspiring face around the J. Every class you teach directly impacts someone's day.
The Group Fitness Instructor provides cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes, promoting fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. They act as a fitness resource for class participants, and they maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance. The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for consistently meeting daily class attendance goals as well as effectively promoting The J’s programs, events, and services.
