Job summary

Dardano's School of Gymnastics in Denver, CO is seeking energetic Gymnastics Instructors/Coaches to inspire young athletes and share a love of the sport through fun, accessible instruction.

With a 40+ year legacy, the program builds confidence, strength, and skills for gymnasts of all levels. You will plan engaging lessons, ensure safety, track progress, and communicate with families to support each child's growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as gymnastics instructor, coach, or competitive gymnast preferred.
• USAG membership and safety certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Teach fundamental gymnastics skills using proper technique and progressions.
• Monitor and ensure the safety of all students during practice and training sessions.
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to athletes and parents.
• Set up, inspect, and maintain gymnastics equipment to ensure a safe training environment.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with program goals.
• Support and motivate students during recreational classes and competitive training.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a gymnastics instructor, coach, or competitive gymnast preferred
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals, progressions, and safety protocols
• USA Gymnastics (USAG) membership and safety certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents
• Positive, energetic, patient, and encouraging coaching demeanor
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
